Dreaming vs. Achieving

For years I have heard so many arguments, discussions, conversations, and debates about the importance of dreaming versus achieving.  Obviously a lot of people never get past the dream stage.  Heck, let’s be honest, most people never even get to the dream stage once they leave grade school.  The truth is, if we stop and think about it, both are almost equally important.  In order to be inspired we must dream.  In order for that dream to come true we must take appropriate steps to achieve.  The most successful people in life manage to find that delicate balance between keeping their heads in the clouds with their feet firmly planted on the ground.  When someone has chasing after their dreams with everything they have, that is a beautiful thing.  Sometimes we get so caught up in the result, we forget to enjoy the ride.  As was stated years ago by Emerson or someone like him…..”The Journey is the Thing!”  Here’s to dreaming big, and then taking big action to achieve those dreams…

W.J. Vincent II has spent the last 20 years of his life building businesses from start-up to success in fields as varied as Real Estate, Technology, and Environmental Health. In January 2012, Natalia, his wife of 13 years, tragically passed away, her body having given in to her short but dramatic three-month battle with a brain tumor. Her sudden passing left W.J. a widowed father of a 1-year old baby girl and 4-year old boy of his own, along with a 12-year old boy and 15-year old girl he had been helping his mother-in-law to raise due to her battle with multiple sclerosis.
