Thinking 101

Caribbean1Most people prefer warm weather to cold weather.  Lots of people dream about vacationing in the Caribbean.  However, most of these people live somewhere cold, and never go to the Caribbean, although they dream about it, talk about, and wish they could.  How much thought goes into choosing a life where you live in a place that is not your ideal?  Then again, on the other hand, lots of people choose to live somewhere warm and once there they complain about how hot it is all the time.  These same people also tend to never visit the ocean even though they may live only minutes away.  Bottom line is most people waste a lot of their time and energy complaining about their current circumstances, while dreaming or wishing they were somewhere else.  So if you live somewhere warm you will wish you lived somewhere cooler, and if you live somewhere cold you will wish you lived somewhere warmer.  This is not an example of “Thinking More”…unfortunately it is an example of where society is at right now.  As the old saying goes, for things to change we have to change, and that requires a lot more than just changing your address!
