The difference between “Stuck in a Rut” Or being “In a Groove”…

STUCK IN A RUT

VERSUS

IN A GROOVE

Sometimes the difference between a successful week, month, or year can be very subtle.  Recently there was a funny commercial made where a guy is “stuck in a rut” but thought he was actually “In A Groove”.  This happens to even the most successful people, where we get into a pattern that is comfortable, but not necessarily productive.  It is far too easy to settle for routine rather than push for results.  Next time you find yourself doing the same things on a daily basis comfortably, while not getting the results you desire, change things up a bit.  Go to bed a little earlier, or possibly a little later, get up a little earlier, add some variety to your daily meditation, goal setting, exercise, because when we truly get into a groove, much like the photo above of an Olympic Luge run, we can go further, faster, longer, while maximizing every aspect of what we do.  Here’s to staying out of the rut, and all of us finding our groove!
